This is Gorf, a puzzle game where you are a frog. 🐸
Eat tasty treats and sleep on comfy and fragant flowers, all through 16 different levels with increasing challenge and complexity!
Controls
The game uses standard pico-8 controls. On browser, those are the arrow keys to move, and Z to undo moves. You can also use the Enter key to open the menu. See the full list of control mappings through the controller icon at the right of the game.
Motivation
This game comes out as a remake to another puzzle game I did years ago. I lost motivation to do gamedev until I discovered pico-8. It's simplicity and limitations gave me the motivation to return to make games again!

lovely game! loved the undo mechanic, really made it much more interesting than starting over at every mistake!
When I was playtesting the later levels, we got to retry the level too much and got so frustrating that it became evident we needed that.

Spent an embarrassing amount of time on level 7 thinking the fly alternated only two tiles...
It's a neat little game. The background colour is a bit too vibrant, but not too much of a problem. Enjoyed the last level :D
Thank you for the feedback! Flies will keep forward until they reach a non-walkable tile, then they turn around. Glad you enjoyed it ^^
